Adjustments and rate cards
Propose changes to a job, respond to a producer's changes, and manage your rate-card templates.
Two related things live here: rate cards (your standing rate terms with an organization) and adjustments (changes to a specific confirmed booking).
Rate cards
A rate card is your agreed pay terms with one organization: a base day (or hourly) rate, overtime tiers, and any modifiers.
Your templates
Under My Rate Cards you keep reusable templates — your standard terms, which you can propose to any organization. Templates are Pro. For each template you can:
- Edit it, Duplicate it, or Delete it.
- Propose to organization… — offer it to an organization that has added you as a contact.

You can only propose to organizations that have added you
Negotiations
When you propose a card — or a producer proposes one to you — it becomes a negotiation. The Negotiations with organizations section lists these, grouped by organization. Each shows the version, the status, and whether it's your turn to respond or you're awaiting the organization.
Open a negotiation to see the full terms. When it's your turn, you can:
- Accept — agree to the terms. It becomes your standing rate card with that organization.
- Counter — send back a different version.
- Decline — turn it down.
Once a card is agreed, a producer can pin it to your bookings, and your booking totals are worked out from it.
Adjustments to a booking
An adjustment changes the money or schedule of a specific confirmed booking. The three kinds are:
- A different day rate — for example, paying a travel day as a full work day.
- An extra line item — for example a per-diem or a kit-rental fee.
- Waiving a rule — setting aside one of the rate card's rules for this job.
Either side can propose one; it takes effect once the other side accepts.
Proposing an adjustment
You can propose an adjustment in two places:
- When you first respond to a booking request, using Confirm with conditions. Your proposal goes to the producer along with your availability.
- From a confirmed booking, if you need a change after the fact.
Describe the change — its type, the amount, the day or scope it applies to, and a note — and send it.
Responding to the producer's proposals
If a producer proposes a change to you, it appears in the Needs your attention panel on the booking. Each item is tagged (Adjustment, Withdrawal, or Rate card), with a Details view showing exactly what would change. You can:
- Accept — agree to the change.
- Counter — propose a different version.
- Decline — turn it down.
Only changes the other side proposed show up here.

Withdrawing an accepted adjustment
If something you both already agreed needs to be undone, whoever accepted it has to approve the withdrawal before it's removed. Until then, the adjustment stays in place.
