Tutorial: your freelancer setup
Three short steps to get set up as a freelancer: your profile, your first booking, and your calendar.
This tutorial walks you through your first hour as a freelancer on CrewGrid, in three short steps. By the end you'll have a profile producers can find, you'll know exactly what to do when a booking request lands, and you'll have your calendar working for you.
Before you start, you'll need a freelancer account. If you don't have one yet, see Creating an account — it only takes a few minutes.
The three steps
1. Set up your profile
Add your photo, name, location, and skills — and choose whether producers can find you on the marketplace.
2. Respond to your first booking
Find a request on your dashboard, open it, and confirm, decline, or ask a question.
3. Track your calendar
Keep all your work in one view and share an availability hint with producers (Pro).
Each step stands on its own — if a producer has already sent you a booking request, feel free to jump straight to step 2 and come back to your profile later.
